If all the tees I cut into crop tops decided to get revenge, it’d be a bloody mess. I spent much of my youth buying too-tight band tees at pop punk concerts and am left with a pile of shirts with cool graphics that just look ridiculous on. But the solution to an ill-fitting shirt is often as simple as chopping it in half.
This one came to me in a less-cool (or equally uncool?) way–I bought it at Aritzia. It was too big not too small, and thus makes a great crop top to wear in summer with high-waisted jeans or skirts. Also, the bottom half of the fabric that’s left is perfect for covering up a greasy hair day. So vital.
